Egis acquires Bayer vitamin portfolio in Poland

Hungarian drugmaker Egis yesterday signed an agreement regarding the takeover of the Biovital portfolio of vitamin products from Bayer in Poland, the company told Hungarian news agency MTI today.

Egis did not reveal the price of the transaction, however, it noted that turnover of Biovital vitamins in Poland reaches HUF 1 bln a year.

Egis is a unit of Franceʼs Servier.
