The 3,500 sqm base was built through a HUF 1.5 billion investment. The base is suitable for storing and processing dangerous material, according to Hungarian news agency MTI. The base raised the companyʼs area of operation in Hungary by 40%, Sebestyén said.

Donauchem had combined revenue of more than HUF 2.5 bln from its two bases in Hungary last year, MTI said. The company employs 55 people in Budapest and Kazincbarcika, 15% more than a year earlier, MTI added.
