International construction firm CRH Group yesterday opened its new business service center in Budapest, offering financial and commercial administration services for the Northern Duna Region of CRH, including Austria, Hungary and Slovakia, according to a press release issued today.

The new center was opened in the Váci Corner Offices building during a ceremony attended by Ireland’s Ambassador to Hungary Patrick Kelly.

Budapest was chosen as the location for the center as the capital is internationally recognized in the services sector and is an attractive location, the press release said.

“CRH is one of the biggest business successes in Ireland”, the ambassador said at the opening during which he welcomed the investment. The ambassador noted that the opening of the center is expected to further contribute to the development of economic relations between the two countries.

The new center is expected to create 54 new jobs in the country.
