Budapest to host ITU Telecom World 2015

Hungary’s foreign minister Péter Szijjártó and International Telecommunication Union (ITU) head Houlin Zhao, today signed an agreement on Budapest hosting the UN ICT organizationʼs Telecom World conference, which is scheduled to be held October 12-15, Hungarian news agency MTI reported.

Approximately 5,000-6,000 people are expected to participate in the conference, Szijjártó said, adding that the event will offer Hungarian professionals a chance to showcase their own work in the industry.
