Balaton Sound confirms new lineup

Several new acts have been confirmed for the lineup of Balaton Sound, a five-day electronic music festival held every summer on the southern shore of Lake Balaton, according to a press release issued today.

This year’s festival will take place between July 6-10 in the town of Zamárdi and organizers are promising a strong lineup that centers around electronic music and DJ acts but which has recently branched out into other genres including rock, R&B and hip hop.

The lineup for the 2016 Balaton Sound festival features DJs Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Martin Garrix, Armin Van Buuren, Steve Aoki, W&W, Oliver Heldens, KSHMR, Nervo, Don Diablo, Paul Van Dyk and Aly & Fila as well as hip-hop stars A$AP Ferg, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, The Game, Tyga, Tyler, the Creator and Chris Brown, among others.

Lake Balaton is the largest freshwater lake in Central Europe, and a favorite holiday destination of Hungarians.
