The Hungarian unit of German automotive manufacturer Audi and ALTEO Group today (October 5) signed a two-year cooperation agreement, with an option to extend it by a further 12 months, following the principles of so-called “Smart Energy Management”.

ALTEO Group CEO Attila Chikán said in the statement announcing the news that it is becoming more common for large companies to ask their energy partners to meet similar special demands, clearly a sign that domestic businesses are increasingly adopting Smart Energy Management.

“Nowadays, clients can only be served successfully by energy partners that are able to offer flexible and innovative solutions to demands. In the case of Audi, the most important such demand is ensuring the security of supply is guaranteed by reserve capacities and supporting heat production,” the CEO said.
