Andritz completes HUF 144 mln expansion

Austrian-owned generator house manufacturer Andritz completed a HUF 144 mln expansion funded by the European Union and the Hungarian state at its plant in Tiszakécske, southeastern Hungary, the company announced today.

In the framework of the project, the company purchased machinery, increased production capacity and expanded its production hall by 225 sqm, Hungarian news agency MTI reported.

The company currently has a headcount of 400 in its operations in Hungary. The company had HUF 9.65 bln net revenue and HUF 205 mln operating income last year, down respectively by HUF 200 mln and HUF 597 mln compared to 2013.
