State secretary holds talks on direct Budapest-Tirana flight
An agreement on a direct flight between Tirana and Budapest could be signed within months, Levente Magyar, state secretary for economic diplomacy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, said yesterday, according to Hungarian news agency MTI.
Following a meeting with Albanian Deputy Minister for Economic Development Adela Karapici, Magyar said an agreement was reached on organizing regular talks between Hungarian and Albanian business representatives, which would be helped by the direct flights.
Magyar and Karapici are co-chairs of the Hungarian-Albanian Joint Economic Committee.
