Passenger numbers exceed 1 mln at Budapest airport in September
Budapest’s Liszt Ferenc International Airport saw passenger numbers reach 1,017,000 – a 16.2% year-on-year rise – in September, operator Budapest Airport said in announcement yesterday.
The most frequented departure destinations from Budapest in September were London, Paris, and Brussels, the announcement said. The operator added that traffic was heavy throughout the summer season, with corresponding monthly passenger numbers around 140,000 higher than in the same period a year earlier.
