Enrollment at BCE up this year

Ecosystem

Approximately 4,000 new students enrolled to the six faculties of Budapest Corvinus University (BCE), accounting for a 5% increase compared to last yearʼs data, the university announced in a press release today.

The press release noted that 60% of the enrolled students signed up to the faculty of economics, while 20% chose agricultural studies. According to the report, most of the students chose BCEʼs faculty of management, however, the tourism undergraduate program is still one of the most popular.

The total number of candidates was 12,000 students and three-quarters of these registered for the bachelorʼs degree program, while one third signed up for the masterʼs degree program.

Last week, one of the most recognized university ranking organizations, Center for World University Rankings (CWUR), published its annual 1,000 best universities in the world list for 2015, in which BCE was not included.
