PROMOTION: Araz Restaurant, on the corner of Dohány utca and Nyár utca, home to absolute masterpieces in Hungarian and French cuisine will not let its guests down during the year-end rush. Starting November 29, every Sunday is dedicated to the Advent Sunday Brunch, featuring unlimited food & drink consumption. A festive feeling will be provided by soft live music, and children will be amused with live entertainment in the children’s corner. In order to emphasize that Christmas should be a period of coming together, Christmas Concerts by the Vox Caelestis choir will entertain the audience on November 28 and December 5. Continental Hotel Budapest will do its best to make its home a place to come together and ensure that guests enjoy or excellent hospitality.
December 8 is going to be special day as well, as Áron Barka, Chef de cuisine has undertaken the noble task of creating a unique six-course dinner designed to harmonize with Duval-Leroy and Kreinbacher champagnes. The pairings feature such exciting dishes as Foie Grass Créme Brulée perfumed with truffles, baked figs and milk loaf crumble or Turbot with vanilla scallops, spinach leaves, pineapple confit, celery cream and caviar sauce. The wineries, one from the Champagne-Ardenne region in France and one from Somló, ensure that this will be an exclusive and extraordinary gastronomical event.
Moreover, throughout the Christmas season, families can enjoy the hospitality of Araz with a whole list of programs such as the Gala Christmas Eve dinner, including dishes like Carp-catfish fisherman’s soup with homemade noodles and Pike perch filet served with cream potatoes, saffron flavored kohlrabi and lobster veloute. There will also be a Christmas Brunch & Last Sunday Brunch on December 25 and 27. Table reservation in advance is recommended.
As always, the restaurant guarantees a special and exclusive night for New Year’s Eve too, with various six-course Gala Dinner menus, featuring exclusive elements such as St. Jacob’s scallops, quail-eggs or lavender flavored chocolate, live music by the Silent Duo band and an unforgettable experience for the last day of 2015.
