Conferences

Hungarian and Belarusian business leaders participated at a forum organized by the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MKIK) in Budapest yesterday.

Representatives from about 80 companies were at the forum, which took place before a meeting of the Hungarian-Belarusian joint government committee on economic cooperation on Friday.

Alena Kupchina, the deputy foreign minister of Belarus, told the forum that, in addition to the two countriesʼ cooperation in the farm sector, there was an opportunity to strengthen ties in the areas of construction, pharmaceuticals, tourism and education.

Producing journalism that is worthy of the name is a costly business. For 27 years, the publishers, editors and reporters of the Budapest Business Journal have striven to bring you business news that works, information that you can trust, that is factual, accurate and presented without fear or favor.

We would like to offer that same opportunity to our readers. We would like to invite you to help us deliver the quality business journalism you require. Hit our Support the BBJ button and you can choose the how much and how often you send us your contributions.
