HelloParks Páty's 1st Warehouse Receives Int'l Accolade
HelloParks received an accolade at the European Property Awards at the London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square for its HelloParks Páty PT1 sustainable industrial investment project.
Competing against the best property professionals across Europe, HelloParks Páty PT1 has been recognised as a Five Star development in the Commercial and Manufacturing Development category. The 58,000 sqm Big Box hall, a nearly EUR 70 million investment, is the largest single, contiguous modern industrial facility in the Budapest area. The winning project has thus qualified for the International Property Awards world competition.
The European Property Awards are judged by an independent panel of over 80 industry experts. Judging criteria includes design, quality, service, innovation, originality, and commitment to sustainability. The awards are being organized for the 30th year and cover more than 50 different residential and commercial categories as one of the largest, most prestigious, and widely-recognized programs throughout the region.
According to its developer. the PT1 industrial warehouse has been built to the highest "Outstanding" rating of the Breeam sustainability standard's New Construction category. Accordingly, the project has been built using ISO 14001-certified materials, including large quantities of building materials such as concrete structures, trapezoidal sheets, sandwich panels, thermal and water insulation, vents, and metal-based pipe systems.
In addition, construction waste has been separated from the outset, and more than 85% of it has been recycled. The offices in the hall will operate with zero primary energy consumption thanks to the solar panels to be installed on the roof. Rainwater will be used to irrigate the greenery around the warehouse. The public areas surrounding the building will be lit by smart-ready lights, while access to zero-emission transport will be ensured by electric car chargers.
Higher energy efficiency is also supported by HelloParks' own mobile application, which provides useful information to tenants by connecting to the halls' intelligent building automation and monitoring systems. Through this app, technical data of the rented areas can be accessed remotely, utility consumption can be monitored, and heating, ventilation, or lighting settings can be changed. Users can also create time schedules and check whether all lights are switched off.
HelloParks is currently working on zero-emission-ready halls and, from 2028, will only deliver zero-emission buildings, ensuring that such features will apply to all new halls built by the company, according to a press release sent to the Budapest Business Journal.

The HelloParks Páty megapark is planned to include a total of 354,000 sqm of a gross lettable area of modern warehouse and industrial infrastructure in several phases. More than half of the PT1 halls have already found tenants, thanks to the outstanding interest of companies that prefer energy-efficient, environmentally friendly operations.
