ThyssenKrupp and BME sign cooperation agreement
The Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME) signed a cooperation agreement with Hungarian competence center of ThyssenKrupp, a components and system provider for the automotive industry, the firm announced in a press release issued today.
According to the announcement, the agreement will provide new lecture series, internship opportunities and research projects for BME students, at ThyssenKruppʼs research center in Buda. The firm, part of a German-based multinational company, will also equip a research laboratory on campus, where 20 students can work with automotive software products.
"Our company has a lively and long-running scientific-based relationship with the university. The agreement signed today expands the scientific relationship to new research areas," said Marc de Bastos Eckstein, Head of ThyssenKrupp Hungary Kft.
