Slovakia Trade Surplus Widens in May

Slovakia's trade surplus widened sharply to EUR 686.1 million in May from EUR 104.1 million in the same month a year earlier, the Bratislava-based statistics agency said.
Exports rose 3.5% year-on-year to EUR 9,486.6 million, mainly boosted by sales of machinery and transport equipment (15.4%).
On the other hand, imports dropped 2.9% to EUR 8.801 billion.
