Roche Hungary announced a broad collaboration in the healthcare sector and among other large companies to increase the number of screening tests in health areas affecting women, which had decreased due to the coronavirus, according to profitline.hu.

Together with the Hungarian Gynecological Society, the Hungarian Senology Society, the Mellrákinfó Association, and the Mályvavirág Foundation, the biotechnology company is drawing attention to the importance of screening programs.

Hungary is at the forefront of the EU member states in terms of morbidity, while the mortality rate is not favorable either.

According to Eurostat data, every fourth Hungarian dies of some form of cancer, which is decreasing year by year, but is still the highest rate in the European Union as a whole.
