Value of State-owned Assets Reaches HUF 21.8 tln in 2022

The value of Hungary's state-owned assets reached HUF 21.8 tln in 2022, doubling from HUF 11.6 tln in 2010, National Economy Minister Marton Nagy said at a press conference held on the achievements and goals of the Hungarian National Asset Management Company (MNV) on Monday, according to a report by state news wire MTI.

The value of state-owned assets accounts for 25% of GDP, he added.

MNV had revenue of HUF 31.8 bln in 2023, including HUF 18.1 bln in revenue from sales of state-owned real estate, Nagy said.

Revenue is projected to reach HUF 39.2 bln this year, including HUF 32.7 bln in sales of real estate.
