Rossmann Hungary has reduced the number of copies of its printed magazine by 85% over the past three years.

Consequently, it uses almost 1,000 tonnes less paper per year, writes business daily Világgazdaság.

Four years ago, the company distributed 2.3 million newspapers every two weeks, now reduced to 350,000.

Compared to four years ago, Rossmann plans to use more than 70% less paper to print its promotional newspapers in 2022.

While it used about 1,422 tonnes per year in 2018 and earlier, it is projected to drop to 400 tonnes this year.
