Richter Board Proposes HUF 423/Share Dividend

The board of Gedeon Richter will propose payment of a HUF 423-per-share dividend on last year's earnings at an annual general meeting on April 25, the listed pharmaceutical company said on Monday, according to news agency MTI.

Richter had a consolidated net income of HUF 158.9 billion in 2023, an earnings report released in February shows.

Richter paid a HUF 390-per-share dividend on 2022 earnings.

In related news, the Budapest Stock Exchange's main BUX index was up 0.32% at 65,448.88 about 15 minutes after the opening bell on Monday, lifted by the dividend proposal by the board of Richter.

Richter itself advanced 1.3% to HUF 9,320.
