Industrial producer prices in Hungary rose 11.6% year-on-year in June, picking up from the previous month to reach the highest level in years, according to data released by the Central Statistics Office (KSH).

KSH said the pace of price increases was mainly influenced by the rise in the prices of raw materials and commodities and the change in the exchange rate of the forint against the euro.

Domestic sales prices increased by 15.4% and export sales prices by 9.7%.

In a month-on-month comparison, PPI rose 1% as prices for domestic sale climbed 1.7% and export prices edged up 0.7%.
